DATABASE EXERCISE 1
1. Power up the system and load a database program.
2. Set up a file and give it an appropriate name. Set up fields within this file using the following headings, or suitable abbreviations.

3. Enter the following data for the eighteen records as follows:

4. Add your name and date as a header, save as DATA01A and print all records in the file.
5. The house at ETWALL has been on the books for some time so the price is now reduced by £1000. Amend the record.
6. Add the following two record.

OAKWOOD TERRACED 2 NO CURTAINS 29500
7. All the properties in ALLESTREE had been sold. Delete these records.
8. Sort the records alphabetically by area.
9. Print out the complete file.
10. Find all the properties which cost more than £45,000. Print out these records.
11. A prospective buyer is interested in houses which have 3 or more bedrooms and central heating. Find all the suitable properties and print out the AREA and PRICE only.
12. Close down the system.
